Sounds interesting. I saved alot of money, making my own flowers from a hobby store, and buying my wedding gown at a used bridal gown outlet. The most I spent, was on the DJ. I hope I have been of some help.
Throw a big party invite everyone tell them that it’s themed and so they have to dress up nice and then when everyone’s there tell them the surprise.
Well my sister was short on money when she got married so her and her now husband got married on the beach. it was free and very romantic.
To save money on flowers hold your wedding during the Christmas season or immediately after Easter when a church will already be decorated.
Avoid holding your wedding in February when flower prices are at an annual high due to Valentine’s Day
You could also find a venue such as a park or garden that is already lush and beautiful so you dont have to decorate!
Have a ‘pot luck’ dinner, where guests bring different food items, you take care of the cake and decorations and just dress casual. Save the money for the honeymoon or a house!
we bought small clear vases&a couple of yards of two different colors of tool,florist foam,card holders,butterflies on wires&used them on the tables as center pieces.we put baby pics of the bride&groom in the card holders
