The dress is another stumbling block to an affordable wedding. Brides go crazy over finding the perfect dress, spending thousands and thousands of dollars on a dress that will only be worn once.  When dress shopping, keep in mind that you will look fabulous no matter what you are wearing and it’s not worth going broke – or into debt – over the dress. Shop the sample sales at your favorite Bridal Shops and be flexible. You need to have an idea in your head of what you like but if you are set on one particular dress, you won’t be able to save any money.  Ask the salesperson if there are other dresses similar to the one you like that cost less.
